The Newspaper Licensing Agency is committed to protecting the personal data of its users. We shall only use the personal data you provide to us as set out in this Privacy Policy, will protect your information with appropriate levels of security and adhere to the requirements of the Data Protection act 1998. If you have agreed to specific terms and conditions for the provision of a service any terms relating to personal data in such terms and conditions shall override the provisions of this Privacy Policy if there is any conflict. We reserve the right to change this policy from time to time. If the NLA decides to change any aspect of the Privacy Policy, it will be posted on this page.
We collect personal information on you through our registration form(s) and when you purchase any of our products. The personal information can include name, company details, job title, contact details (address, email, phone) payment details and information regarding use of services.
The purposes for which we may use your personal data include:- Processing registrations Maintenance, support and error tracing Product and servce enhancement ideas Market research & surveys Providing you with information on products and services we offer by mail, email, other electronic messaging services (only if you have agreed to receive such information)
We may provide your personal data to employees and agents of the NLA to deal with any accounts, products and services you obtian from us. We may use your information in aggregate form (ie not identifying individual users) for reports including • Monitoring website usage • Building market profiles • Financial reporting and may give these reports to third parties including our newspaper publishers, suppliers, resellers and advertisers. We may also disclose your information if required by law.
We will only contact you regarding other interesting services from the NLA if you opt-in during the registration process, or through your account management. Although we will pass on some information as described above, this is for operational purposes only. We will not sell or give your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to the NLA, without explicitly asking you.
